Happy New Year For China 2026 Spring Festival

On February 16th, 2026, it was the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year. As a Chinese person, no matter where one is, one must return to one's hometown and spend the New Year's Eve with one's parents and children, having a reunion dinner, sharing the joys and sorrows experienced throughout the year, then letting go of all these emotions, releasing oneself completely from the burden of the past year, and wishing the entire family good health and a better life!

Then on the second day, February 17th, it was the first day of the lunar new year. This was a very important day. We would bring all the village deities out of the temples and then conduct a procession and pray in every household in the village, hoping to ensure that the entire village would have good weather, abundant harvests of grains and crops, good health, smooth affairs, and great wealth every year. This is our Chinese Spring Festival.
